Banquets

Park Farm Barn hasn’t altered much since it was built in 1720. A fully licensed bar and heating make it the perfect venue for you own winter themed banquet for up to 100 guests.

Menus can be tailored to suit your occasion or theme. We have hosted Anglo-Saxon Feasts, Re-enactment and LARP Moots, Banquets for various firms and organisations, private parties and birthdays. Some people come in costume, some don’t. We try to use only local produce including Mead from a Nottinghamshire Vineyard, hand-made Leicestershire Cheeses, Ale from Shardlow, and Venison from our own mediaeval deer park.

Some groups bring their own Heraldry and entertainment, some finish with a disco, others ask us to book themed players for them.

Most Banquets take place on Friday evenings in October to April, when we can arrange a later bar. We have a huge campsite with showers, toilets & electricity as well as hotel accommodation on site. Keep the elements at bay, we’ll even lay on breakfast.

Banquets start from £25 per head, £35 with camping and breakfast, or £55 sharing a hotel room, including Breakfast.
